this Sight was last updated on 10 Jun 04

The contruction of this Gothic church was started in 1365 and served as the main Hussite (Reformist movement led by Jan Hus) church from the early 15th century until 1620.
In addition to being one of Prague's most easily-recognizeable landmarks, Tyn Cathedral also houses the tomb of Tycho Brahe, the Danish astronomer who died under mysterious circumstances while in the services of Emperor Rudolph II in 1601.
